Michael Peloso is an accomplished professional with over 20 years of experience in project controls and construction claims, particularly on transportation projects, including highways, bridges, and rail. His expertise extends to the energy, commercial, and industrial construction sectors, where he has excelled in commercial management, claims analysis, critical path methodology (CPM) schedule development and updating, schedule delay analysis, cost of corrective work assessment, cost of acceleration, and loss of productivity/inefficiency analysis.

Michael leverages his extensive experience to develop and implement process-oriented solutions in commercial management, project management, and scheduling for general contractors, subcontractors, and owners. He is known for client-focused analytical communication and ensures that all stakeholders are well-informed and engaged. His responsibilities have included master integrated schedule development and monitoring, change management, claims development and management, and contract administration.

At the corporate level, Michael has been responsible for developing and controlling the change management process for a general contractor working with multiple public and private owners. He has also managed project construction, including analyzing and resolving change orders and claims involving delay and disruption, as well as time impact analysis. Additionally, he has overseen corporate risk management, including managing contractual risk and primary liability exposures through a best-in-class captive insurance program.

Michael is an Associate Director in the Construction Advisory Services group at J.S. Held. He specializes in implementing project and program-level policies and procedures, developing and maintaining project and program schedules, performing commercial management, change management, claims analysis, schedule delay analysis, delay and disruption damages assessment, and cost analysis. His focus industries include commercial, energy, industrial, and transportation.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University.
