Maxwell Brandon applies deep financial due diligence experience to support Stapleton Group, a part of J.S. Held’s senior management on financial advisory and turnaround engagements. He conducts meticulous financial investigations, reviewing historical operational and financial performance to identify key trends and obstacles, and facilitates the development of achievable restructuring plans.
Prior to joining Stapleton Group’s Strategic Advisory Group, a part of J.S. Held, Maxwell served as a Senior Associate at KPMG in its Deal Advisory and Strategy group. In these positions, he performed financial due diligence for over 30 middle-market buy- and sell-side M&A transactions for private equity and large corporate clients, primarily within the consumer goods and retail sectors. While at KPMG, Maxwell assisted with financial restatements and carve-outs for publicly traded companies involving complex financial reporting.
Maxwell received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Southern California.
