Read MoreMatthew Campbell has worked for 19 years in the construction industry. His experiences include working with concrete and masonry, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, water purification systems, steel building construction, and residential and commercial renovations. Matthew has served in the United States Army Reserve for 23 years. His roles in the military include being a Joint Fire Support Sergeant. He is currently a Training Sergeant and the principal administrator responsible for performing a variety of technical, analytical, advisory, liaison, and coordinating duties for the unit commander and First Sergeant in accomplishing the overall functions of an Army Reserve Company. Matthew also served as a Drill Sergeant and was deployed twice to Iraq as a Fire Supporter.
Matthew manages multiple clients and projects at J.S. Held throughout the construction process. His primary responsibilities include establishing and tracking budgets, estimating, scheduling, site evaluations, and proposal reviews.
Matthew is a consultant in the Project Support Services group, an owner's representative, and a project manager specializing in residential and commercial renovations. He regularly consults as an owner's representative reviewing pay applications and conducts value engineering, scheduling, and change order reviews. Matthew conducts site monitoring and visualizes a project's progress using 360-degree cameras and the Holobuilder application. His use of these products allows stakeholders to track current and historical progress remotely. He also digitally creates three-dimensional models of buildings and spaces with Matterport. This three-dimensional dollhouse of space can determine prior conditions, aid in concept/detailed design and construction design, and is readily available with Revit and CAD.
