Matt Ludens is a professional mitigation and reconstruction consultant with an established background in the Insurance Restoration industry. Matt’s consulting projects have included facilities and buildings in the high-end residential, commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, transportation, religious, and education/university sectors throughout the continental United States.
Before his tenure at J.S. Held, Matt most recently was Senior Project Director at a global restoration firm. He oversaw the reconstruction department and managed a staff of ten people. Before that, Matt held numerous positions in the restoration industry, residential new homes and remodeling, and commercial construction.
Matt supervises and manages large, complex consulting assignments for insurers throughout the United States. He oversees and reports deliverables, including scope development, detailed estimates, claim and schedule analysis, negotiations with contractors and public adjusters, and restoration period. Matt also manages a substantial number of appraisals.
