Martin Randolph joined J.S. Held in July of 2021 as part of J.S. Held's acquisition of Kineticorp. He investigates and reconstructs accidents involving passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, pedestrians, motorcycles, bicycles, public transportation, and agricultural equipment using physics principles, physical evidence, numerical methods, and computer simulation software to assess vehicle dynamics and human factors. Martin analyzes collisions involving data stored on automotive electronic control modules, post-collision fires, vehicle rollovers, and motorcycle capsizes. He is familiar with conducting vehicle and collision scene inspections using cameras, surveying tools, 3D LIDAR devices, and unmanned aerial vehicles. Martin also uses data-acquisition systems to conduct vehicle testing and research.
Martin manages vehicular reconstruction analysis, case and research project management, and onsite investigation monitoring. He has extensive involvement in major loss assignments throughout the United States and has consulted on large, complex insurance losses and civil litigation. Martin functions as a member of the emergency and rapid response team.
