Martha Zehnder is a Certified Public Accountant with over 32 years of experience as a forensic accountant. Ms. Zehnder is proficient in the measurement of economic losses and damages involving lost profits, business interruption/contingent business interruption, extra expense, inventory loss and damage, theft of cash and inventory, fraud and embezzlement, course-of-construction losses, and third-party damage claims.
Prior to joining J.S. Held, she gained accounting expertise for 14 years at the position of Chief Financial Officer for a group of four property/casualty insurance companies and at a “Big Four” accounting firm.
Ms. Zehnder has evaluated loss of property and/or income claims in a variety of industries, with special expertise in Agriculture, Hotels/Hospitality, Casinos/Gaming, and Solar/Wind Energy. She has provided deposition and trial testimony in State and Federal Courts.
