Mark Zajac has over 20 years of professional experience in structural design and forensic analysis. His background includes extensive experience in designing, analyzing, and evaluating new and existing residential, industrial, commercial, and institutional structures. His engineering practice has included designing and analyzing various building materials, including structural steel, masonry, reinforced concrete, timber, and light-gauge metal framing.
As a forensic engineer, Mr. Zajac provides expertise in resolving building envelope and civil- and structural-related incidents. These investigations have included, but are not limited to, evaluations of alleged damage from wind, seismic, hail, snow, hurricane, rain, tornado, fire, vibration, subsidence, and vehicular impact.
Mr. Zajac is part of the Forensic Architecture & Engineering (FA&E) Practice. His role includes forensic investigation of accidents and failures related to the built environment. He has extensive involvement in major loss assignments throughout the United States.
