Mark S. Luttrell, CPA, ABV, CFF, joined J.S. Held in November of 2024 as part of J.S. Held's acquisition of Luttrell Wegis LLP.
Mark is a Certified Public Accountant and founding partner of Luttrell Wegis LLP. He commenced his career with a “Big 4” firm in 1988. From 1991 to present, Mark has practiced primarily in forensic accounting and business valuation. While maintaining a vibrant practice in these areas, Mark also managed the Southern California offices of a Top 10-ranked national accounting firm for over 15 years.
Mark has testified as an expert witness in various Superior Courts in California and Arizona, as well as Federal Court. He has contributed substantially to the profession, having presented at approximately 50 national and state conferences on complex issues in forensic accounting and business valuation in addition to publishing materials on these subjects. He has also been extraordinarily active in the profession by Chairing statewide committees of the California Society of CPA’s dedicated to forensic accounting and business valuation, serving as an appointed member on AICPA Committees, and being selected as 1 of 28 inaugural forensic specialists nationwide to become a Charter Member of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Foundation.
