Mark Bistis comes from a strong background in disaster restoration. Mark has specialized in water mitigation, fire mitigation, microbial contamination, and biohazard mitigation projects during his years in the disaster restoration industry and has obtained multiple industry certifications that endorse his practices.
Mark’s consulting projects have encompassed buildings and facilities in the commercial, industrial, manufacturing, waste and water treatment, healthcare, residential, transportation, hospitality, religious, and education/university sectors throughout North America. Mark supervises and manages large, complex consulting assignments throughout the United States for global insurers. He is responsible for overseeing and reporting deliverables which include cost estimating, claim analysis, schedule analysis, preparation of actual cash value, and period of restoration determination. Mark has expert experience with scope development, estimating, client relations, and project execution of various magnitudes.
Prior to joining J.S. Held, Mark held the position of production manager at a Restoration contracting company that served all of Philadelphia and Bucks County, PA. He has expert experience with scope, estimating, and management of projects of various sizes, both residential and commercial. His hands-on experience and prior management skills in the restoration industry have given Mark the ability to accurately access any condition. Mark’s creativity, and expertise have brought great problem-solving skills to both J.S. Held and our clients.
