Marc Calandruccio joined J.S. Held in May of 2019 and brings 21 years of experience in property damage mitigation and restoration. He has worked as the Director of Mitigation for one of Connecticut's largest privately owned full-service restoration companies. There, Marc was heavily involved in all aspects of property restoration, focusing on water damage, microbial remediation, and fire/smoke damage in commercial and high-end residential properties. Marc is a highly engaged, collaborative, and results-oriented professional with technical expertise in building restoration. Marc is a Level II Certified Xactimate user.
Since joining J.S. Held, Marc has been appointed to the National Restoration Team and cited as the Northeast Area Specialist.
Marc holds IICRC certifications in Water (Level I & II), Microbial, and Fire & Smoke Restoration. Marc is EPA-certified for Lead Renovation and is a licensed Asbestos Abatement Supervisor.
Marc is involved in estimating, the Restoration Team, and on-site project monitoring. He has extensive involvement in numerous major loss assignments throughout the United States and has consulted on large, complex insurance losses, including hotels, retail, multi-level housing, and residential losses.
