Maral Jafari, MASc, EIT, joined J.S. Held in August of 2025 as part of J.S. Held's acquisition of GHL Consultants, Ltd.
Maral brings six years of experience checking consultant engineers’ structural and civil designs, performing structural design, and supervising civil infrastructure projects. Maral assists with the implementation of performance-based fire engineering analysis, Building Code compliance, and the development of alternative solutions.
Maral holds a Master of Applied Science in Engineering from the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC), specializing in Wood Design, and a Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering from Kharazmi University.
