Lorena Machado has over 24 years of experience in the construction industry. She has extensive experience as a lead project coordinator for a retail construction general contractor and over eight years of experience in insurance loss estimation and project management.
Lorena has consulted on sizeable complex insurance losses throughout the United States, including schools, malls, hotels, high and low-rise office buildings, apartment complexes, shopping centers, manufacturing buildings, and multi-building corporate campuses. She also has experience in many other fields within the construction industry, including marketing, accounts receivable, human resources, and the procurement of city, county, and state licensing and building permits.
Lorena is an Assistant Vice President based in the J.S. Held Houston, Texas office. She is involved in estimating, project management, and on-site inspections. Her project geographical experience includes the US and Puerto Rico; she is fluent in English and Spanish.
