Lee Spirer is the President and Chief Executive Officer of J.S. Held, a global consulting firm that combines technical, scientific, financial, and strategic expertise to advise clients seeking to realize value and mitigate risk. Lee brings over 30 years of experience in creating strategic direction, building teams, defining go-to-market approaches, and leading organizations forward by balancing organic and acquisition-based growth strategies while driving operational and performance excellence.
He is a transformational leader with extensive experience creating value for investors in human capital-intensive businesses by focusing on developing innovative, high-impact services for clients and building platforms on which world-class professionals believe they can be most successful in their careers.
Lee has interacted with a wide range of investors and boards, operated in both public and private companies, acquired and sold businesses, and brought a company through an IPO. He serves as an advisor and board director member on three private equity-backed companies which are tech-enabled, human capital-intensive businesses: A-LIGN, Material+, and Ryan.
He is a graduate of Brandeis University with a BA in Economics and holds an MBA in Finance and Strategic Planning from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Lee serves on the board of the Yorkville Youth Athletic Association, one of the largest city-based, non-profit-youth sports programs in the country fostering a close-knit community fueled by a shared love for sports and a collective dedication to nurturing the growth of young athletes.
