Dr. Kristine A. Tucker, MD, MS, FACEP is a physician consultant and toxicologist. Dr. Tucker is trained in the fields of emergency medicine and toxicology with more than 19 years of experience as an emergency physician and more than 28 years of experience in toxicology. She has practiced and taught in academic and community hospital emergency departments including Level I Trauma centers, urban/suburban/rural community hospitals, and remote critical access hospitals. Her scope of clinical practice includes but is not limited to the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment/resuscitation of cases related to trauma, sepsis, cardiac arrest, stroke, poisonings/overdoses, infectious diseases, and oncologic, pediatric, obstetric, and psychiatric emergencies. Dr. Tucker also has extensive clinical experience with exposures related to toxic chemicals, pharmaceuticals and polypharmacy, illicit drug exposures, and overdoses, as well as occupational and environmental exposures. Dr. Tucker has provided expert services as a consulting physician and toxicologist.
Dr. Tucker is a certified diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. She has served as an attending physician and faculty member in the Division of Emergency Medicine at the University of Washington and Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington, and in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Madigan Army Medical Center, Fort Lewis, Washington, where she served as the Acting Director of Toxicology.
Dr. Tucker serves as a physician consultant and toxicologist providing medical/clinical expertise for claims of personal injury and human health impacts from chemicals, drugs, and environmental and occupational exposures.
