Karla Cassidy joined J.S. Held in July of 2022 as part of J.S. Held's acquisition of Kodsi Forensic Engineering.

Karla Cassidy is a Senior Engineer specializing in motor vehicle collision reconstruction, injury biomechanics, and the analysis of slips, trips, and falls. She has led over 600 reconstructions and participated in more than 1,000 investigations. Karla has hands-on experience, including serving as a test subject in eight crash tests, providing litigation support, and qualifying as an expert witness in various courts for collision reconstruction and injury biomechanics.

Her expertise extends to presenting topics such as in vitro knee biomechanics, low-speed occupant injury risk, occupant motion & injury risk, and motor vehicle collision fraud. Karla’s extensive reconstruction involvement spans injury risk assessment, seatbelt evaluation, occupant positioning, avoidance analysis, severity analysis, and damage consistency. Her comprehensive skill set ensures thorough and accurate analysis in all her assignments.
