Josh Foley has worked as a CPA and Forensic Accountant for over 19 years. Josh began his career in Philadelphia, and then relocated to NY, where he has remained since.

Josh has spent the entirety of his career specializing in the quantification and presentation of commercial economic losses. His career has been heavily focused on the review and audit of 1st Party Property Insurance Claims. The nature of his engagements include experience in Business Interruption, Builders Risk, Loss of Rents, Data Breach & Cyber Liability, Product Recall & Liability, Manufacturing, Catastrophe Services (PD, BI & EE), and others.

Early in his career, Josh gained extensive experience in Catastrophe services, with multiple long-term engagements, requiring temporary re-location for site monitoring and on-site analysis. This would later serve as a foundation and base of knowledge to build off while engaging in various Builders Risk claims and others.

Throughout his career, Josh has completed engagements for claims resulting from major events, such as Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Sandy, Covid-19, and others. He has also completed engagements of smaller scale, resulting from events such as fires, pipe breaks, food contamination, cyber breaches, and others. As a result, he has developed a well-rounded and flexible ability to meet the needs of each engagement.

Josh believes that an imperative part of success is the quality of the team and people leading and supporting you, and to help the success of the team, he has participated in his office’s Recruiting, Interviewing, and Staff Training processes.
