Joseph has over 15 years’ experience in all phases of Construction as a Senior Project Manager, Design Director, Construction Project Manager, Design Project Manager, Resident Engineer, and Estimator. Projects include new construction and renovations for Government/Military structures, NYC Landmark Preservation Renovations, NYC Cultural Institutions, NYC Parks and Recreation, Commercial and Residential construction.
Joseph is presently a Senior Consultant, primarily involved with assisting Sureties on pre-default and post-default scenarios. This includes project status assessments, cost to complete estimates, and preparation and submission of Principal change orders and claims.
Previously, as Senior Project Manager with New York City Department of Design and Construction, Joseph managed the design, schedule, budget, and construction of $100M in architectural projects from scope development to client-turn-over. His responsibilities consisted of performing daily construction site inspections for contract compliance and jobsite safety; performing contract drawing reviews for accuracy and appropriateness throughout the project, including in-depth milestone reviews; overseeing project budget and change order costs negotiations; preparing submissions and presenting to Community Boards, Landmark Preservation Commission, and Public Design Commission; acted as a liaison between various government agencies, clients and consultants.
