Joseph Bond joined J.S. Held in January of 2024 as part of J.S. Held's acquisition of the Kenzie Group.
Joseph is a legally qualified trained surveyor, passionate about helping clients resolve complex issues. He has extensive dispute resolution experience investigating and analyzing quantum and delays on complex construction, infrastructure, and engineering projects worldwide. He utilizes his expertise to prepare or defend claims for additional time and money for owners, contractors, and subcontractors alike under construction contracts.
He provides expertise for insurers, reinsurers, and loss adjusters to assess delays in start-up (DSU) or business interruption (BI) claims under insurance policies. He has given oral evidence within international arbitration. Joseph has considerable dispute-resolution experience acting as an expert witness and giving oral evidence before the tribunal on behalf of his clients.
Joseph's background is in civil engineering, before branching out into construction, engineering, energy sector disputes, and commercial management. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Wolverhampton and a PGDip in Construction Law and Arbitration from Robert Gordon University.
