John White has extensive experience in financial statement analysis, the application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), valuation and economic damages support services, and regulatory compliance.

John is a consultant in the Financial Investigations practice at J.S. Held in the Washington, DC Metro area. He provides forensic accounting consulting services and litigation support to public and private sector clients across the United States.

His recent casework includes forensic analysis of transactions between a fintech company and its customers to assess preferential payment liabilities in a cryptocurrency-related bankruptcy. His prior experience includes conducting Anti-Money Laundering (AML) transaction monitoring lookbacks and focusing on identifying potentially fraudulent transactions for a financial services organization. John has also assisted with calculating economic damages resulting from alleged partial breaches of contracts between multiple nuclear utility companies and the United States Department of Energy.

John graduated with a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, cum laude from James Madison University.
