Prior to joining J.S. Held, Mr. Chen served as an Analyst of Capital Forensics, Inc. (CFI). He began his career at CFI in 2019 as a Junior Analyst right after graduating from DePaul University. As an Analyst, Mr. Chen participated in building and maintaining automation scripts to perform data cleaning, data validation, and data wrangling. Then Jianguo worked on a regulatory team to perform the investment performance analysis, damage analysis and other regulatory cases.
As a Consultant at J.S. Held, Mr. Chen participated in dozens of regulatory projects covering various FINRA and SEC Initiatives. Mr. Chen processes, validates, and analyzes datasets of varying size, sometimes billions of records. Many of the matters involve mutual funds, while others also involve other security types such as UITs, Preferreds and Closed-end funds. Mr. Chen also works with J.S. Held’s team of Experts to ensure the methodologies applied are following industry standards.
