Jennie Pinho is an Environmental Scientist specializing in site remediation of commercial and industrial properties. Jennie began her career in environmental consulting in 2013 with Brennan Environmental, Inc., which was acquired by J.S. Held in February 2020. Her specialty is large legacy sites with a long history of sampling and remediation, including multiple impacted media and many contaminants of concern. Jennie has authored due diligence and remediation reporting for many sites with over 100 areas of concern.
Jennie’s site remediation experience ranges from small commercial operations to large, multi-tenant industrial/commercial complexes. Her skills include client outreach, vendor correspondence, cost estimate, and proposal preparation, technical writing, training design, development of data analysis procedures, and a wide variety of fieldwork. Jennie has supported projects through all phases of the site remediation process, from the initial due diligence activities to final case closure. In addition, she has supported projects with ongoing litigation, contaminated bedrock groundwater, Industrial Site Recovery Act (ISRA) evaluations, and ecological modeling and remediation. She is well versed in New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) technical requirements and technical guidance, with a specific focus on alternate compliance mechanisms and groundwater impacts. Her current role with J.S. Held focuses on technical report writing and complex data analysis.
