Jeff Willoughby has over 25 years of public accounting experience providing forensic accounting, tax, audit, consulting, and advisory services to small and mid-sized, privately-owned businesses, with more than 15 years devoted exclusively to forensic accounting.
Prior to joining Forensic Resolutions, Jeff worked for several small and mid-sized accounting firms in North Carolina and Delaware. In addition to his public accounting experience, Jeff’s forensic accounting engagements include damage calculations, shareholder disputes, lost profits claims, fraud investigations, employee theft, vendor fraud, income tax fraud, asset misappropriation, insurance claims, and accounting malpractice claims. Jeff has been accepted and provided testimony, as an expert witness in state courts in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, as well as in federal court.
Jeff has provided services to a wide variety of industries including, manufacturing, professional services, financial services, medical, distribution, construction, real estate, retail, dealerships, not-for-profits, and benefit plans.
Jeff received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting as well as a Master of Science in Accounting from Appalachian State University. In addition, Jeff has taught for the Institute of Management Accountants, the Philadelphia Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and the AICPA, as well as written articles for various publications, on fraud and forensic accounting.
