Read MoreJeff McCurdy is a Project Manager with over 12 years of experience in environmental remediation, specializing in complex multi-media, multi-contaminant cases. Jeff began his career in environmental remediation in 2008 with Brennan Environmental, Inc., which joined the J.S. Held family in February 2020.
At J.S. Held, Jeff continues to manage multiple clients and projects across the tri-state area, concentrating in northern New Jersey. His primary responsibilities include managing and conducting complex multi-media, multi-contaminant environmental assessments and site investigations, developing remedial investigation plans, and overseeing site remediation activities. Jeff has extensive experience conducting and overseeing multi-media investigations with activities including monitoring well installation, soil borings, groundwater, sediment, and vapor intrusion sampling. Jeff also has substantial experience conducting and overseeing due diligence activities. Jeff has experience implementing a variety of compliance mechanisms including averaging using arithmetic mean, 95% UCL, and Theisen polygons, synthetic precipitation leaching procedure, and developing site-specific remediation standards compliant with NJDEP regulations and guidance.
Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Jeff currently maintains an Underground Storage Tank Closure license from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and is a New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional, who oversees the remediation of contaminated sites.
