Jeff Wong specializes in quantifying economic damages. For more than a decade, Jeff has been working with insurers, loss adjusters, and the insurance market to measure complex losses across a diverse range of industries including manufacturing, power generation, refining, metal processing, and hospitality. Jeff has also been involved in arbitral and court proceedings relating to quantum disputes and has experience in the preparation of expert evidence and reports.
Prior to J.S. Held, Jeff spent almost 7 years based in the Singapore office of an international forensic accounting firm serving mainly insurance clients and handling claims across Asia. Before that, he was in Auckland with a well‐known global loss adjusting firm where he helped lead the firm’s Business Interruption team responding to the unprecedented volume of claims stemming from the 2011 Christchurch earthquake.
Jeff has written for industry publications and presented on a broad range of topics relating to complex business interruption issues, stock losses, power generation, and cyber losses, to name a few. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner and holds degrees in Accounting and Finance.
