Jason P. Wegis, CPA, ABV, CFF joined J.S. Held in November of 2024 as part of J.S. Held's acquisition of Luttrell Wegis LLP.
Jason P. Wegis is a Certified Public Accountant and founding partner of Luttrell Wegis LLP. Jason has worked in public accounting since 2000, focusing his career in forensic accounting and business valuation. He worked on highly complex litigation and valuation engagements at a Top-10 ranked national accounting firm. Jason was promoted rapidly to the level of Managing Director followed by the founding of his own firm in 2014; a distinguished forensic accounting firm focused on complex, high asset litigation matters.
Jason has worked in hundreds of complex litigation and valuation engagements and has testified in Los Angeles Superior Court, Orange County Superior Court and Maricopa County Superior Court in Arizona. He excels in extremely complex forensic accounting assignments involving businesses and high net worth estates. He has contributed back to the profession by presenting at conferences on complex litigation issues in varying states, including California, Texas and Indiana. He also has served as an instructor at the Houston Family Law Trial Institute since 2009.
