Jared Whitehead has over twenty years of experience in building construction, structural inspections, and code compliance. As a forensic engineer, Jared provides expertise in resolving civil and structural incidents resulting from wind, flood, fire, settlement, blasting operations, vibrations, and vehicle and tree impacts.
Prior to joining J.S. Held, Jared worked as a construction project manager in the telecommunication industry. His primary focus was preventing construction-related incidents and compliance/quality issues. Jared also led origin and cause investigations related to tower site fires.
Jared’s experience includes over five years of ICC-certified special Inspector projects in reinforced concrete, structural masonry, structural steel & bolting, and spray-applied Fireproofing.
As a forensic engineer with J.S. Held, Jared works with public and private entities to investigate, address, and help resolve claims, compliance issues, and disputes. Jared provides civil and structural engineering services, ground movement and failures, vibration studies and assessments, failure and collapse analysis, and code upgrades and compliance.
