He has over seven years of experience as a senior environmental scientist specializing in sustainability consulting and environmental remediation. He holds a BS in Environmental Science from Fordham University. He graduated top of his class from Stevens Institute of Technology with an MS in Sustainability Management and a graduate certificate in Environmental Management.
Mr. Turner's ESG, CSR, and Sustainability consulting experience includes opportunity and materiality assessments, carbon footprint and life cycle assessments, AI integration and automation, corporate governance and change management, roadmap, and action plan preparation, stakeholder/shareholder engagement, as well as the development of new and existing corporate initiatives and programs with a value-based approach to integrating sustainability at an organizational level.
Environmental consulting experience includes regulatory site investigation and due diligence assessments, soil/groundwater/vapor sampling and data analysis, emergency spill response, in-situ/ex-situ remedial design and implementation, technical writing, and regulatory reporting for industrial, commercial, residential, and government clients.
By enhancing strategic planning and cross-sector partnerships, Mr. Turner helps organizations navigate complexity, manage risks, and benefit from change. Combining his experience in the environmental consulting industry with his technical knowledge surrounding ESG, CSR, and Sustainability, Mr. Turner brings a unique perspective and a broad skill set to every project.
As the Corporate ESG and sustainability Manager at J.S. Held, Jack focuses on strengthening the company’s internal ESG and sustainability program, integrating sustainability into corporate operations and strategic decision-making, and supporting our various service lines and internal initiatives as a subject matter expert on ESG, CSR, Sustainability, and Environmental Science.
