Ilhan Geckil has over 20 years of experience in financial economics, corporate finance, valuation, and business consulting. His expertise is in economic and financial analysis of complex business challenges, with expertise in valuation, economic and commercial damages, transaction advisory, investment analysis, securities, strategy, and public finance.
Ilhan has served as an expert witness in a wide range of matters, including valuation disputes, economic damages, lost profits, breach of contract, franchise and market area disputes, and transaction-related cases. His valuation experience spans transactions, restructuring, litigation, and estate and gift tax engagements. He has also advised clients across diverse industries, with a particular focus on automotive, food and beverage, beer, wine and spirits, retail, hospitality, real estate, and franchise sectors.
Ilhan holds a Master of Arts in Economics from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Koç University in Istanbul. He is also the lead author of Applied Game Theory and Strategic Behavior (CRC Press, 2009).
