Gloria Fernandez received her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from California State University at Fullerton. Gloria is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and is Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF). With over 20 years of experience in public accounting, Gloria’s knowledge base includes business and tax consulting, financial planning, and a wide range of accounting and forensic accounting services.
From Gloria’s early days of working with the Legal Aid Society of Orange County to her contributions as a CPA at other accounting firms, Gloria has a vast knowledge of accounting and litigation support services such as business valuations of manufacturing, retail, wholesale, and services businesses in a wide range of industries; numerous family law issues associated with property division, stock option exercise planning, divorce tax planning, and child and spousal support; income tax preparation for closely-held entities and high net worth individuals, as well as representation before Federal and State taxing authorities. Gloria is also a qualified expert witness in the Orange County Superior Family Law Court system.
Gloria enjoys the problem-solving that forensic accounting provides. Her immense expertise and critical eye allow her to draw sound conclusions when there are gaps of information, as well as create a narrative with the financial history provided with the intent of working towards a solution that can allow our clients to move on and start anew. Gloria also excels at staff and client education. Typically this is a new experience for our clients and Gloria helps instruct and navigate our clients through the process, as well as keeping our staff informed of the latest techniques and trends in the forensic accounting industry.
