George Rayburn joined J.S. Held in July of 2021 as part of J.S. Held's acquisition of Kineticorp. George investigates and reconstructs vehicle-to-vehicle crashes, vehicle-to-pedestrian crashes, and commercial vehicle crashes. While investigating and reconstructing crashes George can identify mechanical or electrical issues to identify potential causation. As a consultant, he has produced several specialty vehicles for the medical industry. George is also an instructor of technical training courses.
George performs vehicle and scene inspections to measure, document, and preserve crash-related evidence. As an FAA-licensed Remote Pilot in Command, George uses Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (drones) along with GPS and 3D instrumentation to generate digital aerial imagery. He obtains data to produce precision 3D models of vehicles to determine impact configurations and crash sequences of subject vehicle accidents. George is also part of the Rapid Emergency Response group and is prepared to travel at a moment’s notice to investigate crash scenes and accident vehicles.
