Fausto Figueroa has been in the construction industry for over 15 years and has experience with project management, general contracting, and construction operations across the United States, United Kingdom, and Brazil. His expertise includes construction project planning, scheduling, cost management, quality control, contract compliance, preconstruction, and constructability services. Fausto offers insight into construction with knowledge and experience gained from working as an apprentice in Heavy Civil projects (2006) to Managing Construction Projects (2022).
Prior to joining J.S. Held, Fausto worked for GenCap Construction, managing a $40M multi-family building project in Shoreline, WA. He led the planning and field operations while directly overseeing the structural, enclosure, and vertical transportation scopes.
While at Clark Construction, a national general contractor, Fausto worked in preconstruction, performing constructability reviews and developing estimates and contract exhibits. Additionally, he developed and implemented a Quality Control program for a 1.3 billion-dollar project in Seattle, WA. Fausto managed complex scopes in operations from contract scoping/buyout to execution.
Fausto is an Assistant Managing Director in the Builder’s Risk practice. He specializes in complex construction claims analysis and excels at translating technical details into clear concepts, aiding clients in understanding project costs, delays, and valuations. His broad experience helps him navigate construction issues and pinpoint root causes, delivering exceptional value.
Fausto is fluent in English and Spanish, enhancing his ability to communicate with diverse clients and stakeholders. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle.
