Erik Weber joined J.S. Held in 2022 with over ten years of experience in environmental remediation working on projects varying from small residential properties to large multi-tenant industrial/commercial complexes. He has supported projects through all phases of the site remediation process from initial due diligence activities to final case closure. Erik has extensive experience in environmental investigation and remediation primarily in New Jersey, but has also worked on several projects in New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Illinois. Erik has project management experience including client outreach, budget management, fieldwork coordination, data analysis, vendor correspondence, work scope and financial planning, and technical report writing. He also has experience with a wide variety of fieldwork. Erik has extensive knowledge and is well versed in the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) technical requirements and technical guidance; and has experience working with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) Brownfields Cleanup Program, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP), the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CT DEEP), and the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA).

In his current role with J.S. Held, Erik works closely with senior and junior staff members predominately focusing on soil, groundwater, and vapor investigations at commercial and industrial projects in New Jersey.
