Erik Ringoen is a CPA with more than 30 years of experience assisting clients on matters including financial investigations, litigation, and dispute consulting, financial auditing, tax, and economic damages. Erik is a licensed certified public accountant in Pennsylvania and Delaware, is certified in financial forensics, and is accredited in business valuation by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Erik has concentrated on forensic and investigative accounting since 1999.
Erik has led multi-disciplined teams performing fraud and financial investigations, due diligence, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) investigations, bankruptcy, and claims management services, domestically and internationally. He has been involved in every aspect of cases, including planning, developing, and implementing investigative plans; managing engagement resources; conducting investigative interviews; and presenting findings to large multinational and privately held companies (i.e., Board of Directors, Special Committees, Management). He has also served as a fraud specialist, advising audit teams on the scope of a company’s investigations, the procedures performed, the findings, and the adequacy of their response to the findings, including any remedial actions.
Erik is an Executive Vice President of J.S. Held’s Economic Damages and Valuations Practice. This practice includes capabilities in forensic and investigative accounting, corporate investigations, due diligence, quantification of economic damages, business valuations, and expert witness and litigation support services in financial disputes.
Erik holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting and economics from the University of Delaware.
