Erik Gross joined J.S. Held in October of 2023 as part of J.S. Held's acquisition of Phoenix Management Services. Erik is a financial analyst with specialized experience across various industries. His expertise includes providing stability and accuracy in interim support roles, such as interim senior accountant, controller, fund accountant, and senior accountant. Erik frequently performs analysis and delivers reports to stakeholders, offering clarity during various stages of distress. He has extensive knowledge of compliance requirements and regularly prepares financial statements for reporting agencies, including FINRA and SIPC.
Erik has a deep understanding of complex financial data, providing detailed quantitative analysis and future projections to support informed decision-making. He provides stakeholders with clear insights for long-term planning, as well as during M&A, restructuring, and bankruptcy efforts. His diligence and attention to accuracy, as well as his focus on process improvement, are evident in his extensive experience with bank activities, payroll and bonus calculations, financial statement preparation, and reconciliation. Erik is adept at working in various roles and environments, including funds, manufacturing, services, and distribution.
As part of J.S. Held's Strategic Advisory Group, Erik works on projects related to interim support roles, including accounting manager & controller, accounting support functions, and financial modeling. His skill set and analytical nature provide significant value and results for client companies.
Erik received a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Taxation from Goldey-Beacom College, a Master of Science in Finance from Goldey-Beacom College, and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance from the University of Delaware.
