Douglas G. DePhillips is an accomplished construction executive and consultant with more than 30 years of experience. Doug specializes in damage assessments to commercial properties, construction estimating, construction cost overrun evaluations, troubled project turnaround, change order/change of scope analysis and construction defect claims. He has first-hand experience in construction project management and dispute resolution on complex construction and property loss litigation.
Doug's expertise spans all major market sectors including commercial interiors, high rise residential, commercial, hotel, retail, entertainment, sports arenas, and education. In short, Doug is dedicated to a “project approach” philosophy, which introduces a sense of urgency that facilitates resolution. This has been the trademark of his success throughout his career.
Prior to joining J.S. Held, Doug was President of Chroma Building Corporation and also worked as an Operations Manager for large-scale construction projects at Turner Construction.
