Deepak Malhotra joined J.S. Held in October of 2024 as part of J.S. Held's acquisition of ADS Forensics.
Deepak has worked in Litigation Accounting since 2002, most recently as a vice president at one of Canada’s leading litigation and valuation firms. An expert in damages quantification, Deepak specializes in calculating economic losses in personal injury claims, including loss of employment or business income, dependency losses, loss of pension benefits, and the present value of future care costs.
In addition, Deepak has extensive experience in calculating income replacement benefits, default interest calculations, and non-earner benefits per the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS). Further, Deepak is proficient at analyzing complicated situations involving self-employed individuals.
Deepak immigrated to Canada from India in 2001. While in India, he completed his B. Comm (Honours) and a Bachelor of Law Degree, obtained his Chartered Accountant designation, and worked with KPMG and Deloitte.
