David Wilkes is an experienced professional within the building consulting industry. He began his professional career with J.S. Held in August of 2021 and has since brought his applicable knowledge and skill in building consulting to the firm. Throughout his tenure with J.S. Held, he has emerged as a valuable asset regarding invoices, time, equipment, and material analysis. David’s experience includes working on insurance losses from fire, water, storms, and collapses spanning residential, commercial, and agricultural environments. He has made tremendous strides toward expert-level estimate writing.
Prior to joining J.S. Held, David worked as a Financial Advisor specializing in investment account management for mid to high-net-worth accounts. Additionally, David earned his Series-7 License.
David is involved in scoping damages, estimating, project management, invoice analysis, and onsite project monitoring. He has extensive involvement in numerous major loss assignments throughout the United States. He has consulted on large insurance losses, including Amazon warehouses, schools, condominium buildings, and apartment complexes. Additionally, he has consulted on residential homeowner claims with various types of loss events.
