David Pentecost joined J.S. Held in July of 2021 as part of J.S. Held's acquisition of Kineticorp. Mr. Pentecost is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado. Mr. Pentecost investigates and reconstructs vehicular accidents and performs product liability investigations and testing. He has investigated accidents involving passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, and pedestrians. Mr. Pentecost previously worked as a Field Engineer in the oil field where he was the lead engineer on dozens of multi-million dollar projects. During his time in the oil field, he used radioactive materials, explosives, and high-pressure equipment; he holds oil field-related certifications in multiple countries. Mr. Pentecost has completed High-Performance Driver Education training and holds a competition license through the National Auto Sport Association.
As a forensic engineer, Mr. Pentecost participates in the accident reconstruction community and has been published in magazines, journals, and textbooks. He has also given presentations pertaining to his research at national conventions.
