Dave Melchers is the Chief Information Officer at J.S. Held and has over 25 years as a strategic technology leader, consistently catalyzing business value and managing risk.
Dave has had extensive commercial leadership experience in Engineering Consulting and Expert Advisement (i.e., Gartner) and has had prior CIO roles within the Insurance industry and within Private Equity. He has successfully implemented strategic roadmaps across multiple global companies, especially focused on business transformation, acquisition integrations, data and business intelligence, ERP rationalization and implementations, and Cyber-Security.
Dave holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois and the University of Tennessee, respectively. He has achieved multiple certifications including the PMP (Project Management Professional), MBB (Master Black Belt), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), and ERM (Enterprise Risk Manager).
