Dave Martin has several years of experience in the construction consulting business, specializing in complex project valuation, scope development, construction estimating, and cost analysis. He has evaluated national disasters caused by water, fire, flood, hurricanes, tornados, wind, hail, explosions, and sinkholes.
As a construction consultant, Dave has undertaken numerous assignments, performing detailed scope development and cost estimates for residential and commercial projects across the United States. He consistently works on project and site monitoring, including scope development, project cost analysis, and maintaining daily labor and equipment usage records. Over the years, Dave has focused on and specialized in commercial, educational, and medical facility losses.
Prior to joining J.S. Held in 2022, Dave worked for 10 years as an Emergency Services Project Manager. In this role, he responded to insurance-related losses, assessed damages to create scope, developed project estimates, and maintained customer relationships.
