Daniel McCrave-Bessette has nearly 15 years of increasingly responsible project management and project controls experience, with emphasis on bridge, utility, concrete, and infrastructure construction. His experience includes commercial management, claims analysis, schedule development and updating, schedule delay, and disruption analysis, delay and disruption damages assessment, and cost analysis.
Mr. Bessette utilizes his years of field experience to provide consultant services in commercial management, project management, and scheduling for general contractors, subcontractors, owners, and attorneys. Throughout his career, he has served as a project manager and superintendent for general contractors and subcontractors. He has also served as a designer for mass concrete temperature controls. Mr. Bessette’s responsibilities in several of the projects he was involved in included master schedule development and monitoring, changes and claims process development and management, budget monitoring, and contract administration. He has also performed project construction management including analysis and resolution of change orders and claims involving delay and disruption, time entitlement analysis, merit determination, and schedule delay and disruption analysis as an Associate for Perry Associates, LLC.
As a consultant to the construction industry, Mr. Bessette has provided consulting and claims analysis on complex projects, including a variety of utility, infrastructure, building, and bridge projects, both private and public.
Mr. Bessette is a Director in the Construction Advisory Services group and will continue to grow J.S. Held's expertise in New England. His skills include performing commercial management, claims analysis, schedule development and updating, schedule delay and disruption analysis, delay and disruption damages assessment, and cost analysis.
