Cynthia Ahmarany has extensive experience in the international oil & gas industry, having previously worked over many years as a Projects and Cost Engineer for a leading international service provider to the energy industry that designs, builds, manages, and maintains oil, gas, refining, petrochemicals, and renewable energy infrastructure. Her experience encompasses a broad range of disciplines, including the contractual and quantum analysis of project claims submitted by sub-contractors, the contractual and quantum analysis of claims submitted to clients, change orders, engineering, procurement process, commercial contracts, tendering, project budget management, audit, and cost control, as well as logistics, supplier management, and quality control. Therefore, Cynthia provides an extremely well-rounded and balanced perspective concerning the issues that can arise on major oil & gas and other complex major projects. She can conduct business in English, French, and Arabic.
Cynthia provides contractual analysis and quantum support on various contentious and non-contentious matters on projects spanning multiple sectors and jurisdictions, as well as assisting lead experts/claims analysts in the forensic analysis of the cost and time impacts arising from entitlement events and assisting lead experts in the preparation / presentation of expert reports in the Arabic language for use in litigation proceedings. Cynthia is a key provider of detailed claim event chronologies for claim reports and expert reports prepared by the business.
