Craig M. Blossom is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background spanning industries, including military service, construction, project management, insurance claims, and business operations. His career began in the military, where he served as an Infantryman, demonstrating strong leadership, discipline, and teamwork under high-pressure situations. This experience helped him develop strategic thinking and problem-solving skills while managing complex missions and ensuring team effectiveness.
Craig is a Great Lakes Building Consultant Team member and a highly experienced and entrepreneurial director known for his extensive property damage evaluation, restoration, insurance, and remediation expertise. He participates in property damage assessments, generation of accurate reconstruction estimates, scope evaluation, roof consulting, project management, and onsite project management. He has vast experience in commercial, residential, and multifamily properties ranging in value from modern to large loss claims.
Following his military service, Craig transitioned into the construction industry, gaining hands-on experience building residential properties from the ground up. He further expanded his expertise as a General Contractor, managing construction projects from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and maintaining effective client communications. He then moved into the insurance sector, building a solid background in auto liability, property field claims adjustment, and property claims management. As a Claims Adjuster, he handled diverse residential and commercial claims, conducted detailed claims assessments, prepared comprehensive reports, and negotiated settlements while consistently providing exceptional customer service.
Craig served as the General Manager for a large mitigation company, overseeing all business operations. His leadership and operational planning skills were crucial in managing staff, overseeing financial performance, and driving strategic business development to ensure growth and maintain high operational standards. Craig consistently demonstrates adaptability, leadership, and a results-driven mindset. His unique blend of military discipline, construction and project management expertise, in-depth insurance knowledge, and business acumen enable him to approach challenges with a strategic and solution-oriented perspective.
Craig holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration with a concentration on Homeland Security from Medaille University. He is also a US Army Veteran and a former New York State Certified Police Officer.
