Conner Briggs provides construction consulting and expert services in surety, project management, and claim analysis in the US and Canada.
Conner has strong expertise in contract administration, project monitoring and surety takeover support, estimating, schedule analyses, onsite and remote project management, and claim preparation and defense. Conner has provided claim expertise and litigation support to owners, insurance companies, attorneys, subcontractors, and general contractors across a broad spectrum of construction disputes.
Prior to working at J.S. Held, Conner was a project engineer for Clark Construction, where he earned his professional engineering license. As a PE, Conner has extensive experience in the structural and geotechnical components of sheeting and shoring design and construction. His specific design experience includes soldier piles, bracket piles, underpinning piers, lagging, permanent earth retention, temporary earth tiebacks, rakers, walers, heel blocks, corner bracing, cross lots, historical façade support, and utility support.
Conner is a Director in J.S. Held’s Surety Practice, bringing extensive experience in project management, change order evaluations, bond claim reviews, litigation support, and onsite project monitoring for surety-related matters. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University.
