Cody McNair is an accredited traffic accident reconstructionist with specialized expertise in the investigation and analysis of motor vehicle collisions. His work involves the detailed examination of incidents involving passenger vehicles, commercial trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, and pedestrians. He applies scientific methodologies to reconstruct crash events, using advanced tools and techniques to interpret physical evidence and generate accurate reconstructions.

Cody’s responsibilities include conducting scene and vehicle inspections, preserving critical evidence, and utilizing 3D laser scanning technology to map crash sites and vehicle damage. His analytical capabilities extend to video interpretation, crush analysis, and momentum-based calculations, which he integrates into comprehensive scientific diagrams and visual representations. His reconstructions are supported by precise 2D and 3D diagrams developed using AutoCAD, enhancing the clarity and reliability of his findings.

In his current role, Cody consults on a wide range of accident cases, providing technical insight and expert analysis to support legal, insurance, and investigative processes. His work contributes to the accurate determination of causation and liability in complex vehicular incidents.

Cody holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from Texas A&M University, San Antonio.
