Chris Hartman is an Analyst in the Intellectual Property Disputes Financial Expert Testimony practice, working from the San Francisco office of Ocean Tomo, a part of J.S. Held. The practice area quantifies economic damages arising from intellectual property disputes and provides general litigation support, financial consulting services, financial analysis, and valuation assessments.

Chris has worked on a range of engagements involving patents, copyrights, and trade secrets where he has conducted analyses related to reasonable royalties, unjust enrichment, lost profits, disgorgement, and other measures of economic impact. Chris aids in the valuation of intellectual property through data analysis, financial modeling, and market research. His experience spans across a variety of industries including technology, pharmaceuticals, real estate, medical devices, and consumer goods.

Chris holds a M.S. in Quantitative Economics from California Polytechnic State University. He also holds a B.S. in Economics and a B.B.A from Loyola Marymount University.
