Chris Walden is a renewable energy and building construction professional with over 20 years of experience specializing in project management, contract administration, estimating, and schedule delay analysis. He has worked for many general contractors, gaining extensive experience building large-scale construction projects.

Since joining J.S. Held in 2011, Chris has developed extensive experience across numerous renewable energy wind and solar projects. He has also resolved complex commercial, hospitality, residential, institutional, industrial, and residential construction claims in the US, Canada, and Thailand.

Chris has extensive experience evaluating Builder's Risk and General Liability insurance claims, providing advisory assistance and forensic cost evaluation to owners, contractors, and claims adjusters throughout the industry. He has participated in mediation and litigation proceedings regarding damage evaluation and claim analysis and has been involved in appraisals to assist in reaching settlements.

As Vice President of Renewable Energy and Building Consulting at J.S. Held, Chris provides leadership, oversight, and project management for complex renewable energy and construction projects across the United States.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Construction Management Certificate from the University of Washington.
