Chris is a Vice President for Energy Transition - Special Projects within our Environmental, Health & Safety - Energy & Environmental Advisory service line.
With over 35 years in the power generation industry, Chris has substantial experience in combined and simple-cycle combustion turbine facilities as well as coal, IGCC, and landfill-gas-to-energy facilities. His management experience includes; portfolio facilities management as Director, Regional Manager, Plant Manager, Program Manager, and Safety Supervisor. Chris has significant management experience working in the utility, G&T Cooperative power, and IPP, managing 22 facilities during his career.
Chris has expertise in managing complex projects from construction, commissioning & start-up of several facilities, plant turnarounds, outage management, and major equipment overhauls. Chris has significant experience developing, implementing, and managing plant and fleet-wide programs, including plant audit/assessment programs (operations, maintenance, business practices), reliability-centered maintenance, ISO 9000, long-term maintenance and outage planning, and other asset management programs.
Chris is a registered Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI) and a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) through the Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP). Chris is a U.S. Navy veteran.
