Chad Brandon is a specialty roofing expert with over 30 years of hands-on experience in steep-sloped roofing applications. Chad’s roofing industry experience includes project take-off, detailed estimations, and project management, which started with his family’s 3rd Generation Natural Slate Roofing company. At 12, Chad performed daily work on unique slate roofing systems in his hometown of Slatington. While developing his skills as a slate roof craftsman and coppersmith, he progressed quickly in terms of his quality and understanding of complex specialty roofing applications. While performing the craftsmanship of a slater and coppersmith, most roofing applications were applied to large-scale churches, universities, commercial buildings, and historical landmarks in the Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey areas. Chad’s field experience and knowledge of roofing materials, system applications, time estimates, and project management give him the appropriate insight while investigating a loss.

Slate and coppersmith roofing applications were Chad’s passion. Still, Chad also acquired an additional wealth of knowledge in architectural sheet metal, clay and concrete tile, premium cedar, low slope membrane, liquid applied membrane, and asphalt shingle roofing applications.

Chad also performed blind consulting, specification writing, and business development with clients in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York areas. Throughout his lifelong passion for the roofing industry, Chad developed valued relationships with many architects, engineers, and facilities management staff. He is respected by his peers for his professionalism, knowledge of the roof craft, organizational skills, and passion for providing quality.

Chad is most proud of building the family business into a large, well-respected specialty roofing company in Pennsylvania and a strong specialty roofing division with a premium roofing contractor in New Jersey. This includes writing the specification and negotiating the contract for the largest standing seam steep-sloped metal roofing project of its kind in the United States.
