Cara Hatton joined J.S. Held in May of 2022 as part of J.S. Held's acquisition of GPW. She specializes in political risk and investigative due diligence assessments. She has a background in geopolitical risk analysis and spent the early years of her career producing actionable risk assessments on political, economic, and social changes across a diverse range of geographies.
Cara provides consulting and pre-transaction investigative services for a range of clients with interests in Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, and elsewhere. She specializes in corporate investigations and integrity and reputational due diligence assessments in complex jurisdictions.
Her recent work includes due diligence and political risk assessment of a Balkan-based agribusiness group and its beneficial owner and investigations into a Central European technology firm with operations across Europe.
Cara holds a BA in International Relations and an MA in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Birmingham.
